Instruction Assessment

The librarians at Oxford College collaborate with faculty, administration, and Institutional Research to maintain a rigorous assessment plan. The Research Practices instruction team works to identify new ways to assess student learning by attending workshops, webinars, and staying abreast of current assessment literature.

• Participation in the MISO Survey through collaboration with Oxford College IT
• Development of a Framework-based list of student learning outcomes
• In-class assessments of skills students have acquired

• Annual First-Year Council student focus group
• Self-evaluation of teaching and presentation skills
