The New Oxford Library and Academic Commons
Beginning May 10, 2013, the library will be closed as we move offices and collections to the new building! We will reopen on June 10, 2013. Look for future details about plans for a grand opening and other special events during the 2013-2014 academic year celebrating the new building.
About the Oxford Library
The Oxford College Library supports the liberal-arts-intensive curriculum and community of Oxford College of Emory University. We provide excellent resources, services, and instruction for research, study, and teaching to enhance the intellectual and personal growth of Oxford students during their first two years at Emory University. Oxford librarians provide in-depth research consultations, walk-up reference services, and virtual reference services, such as instant messaging.
The library's collection contains more than 88,000 volumes and students have access to the extensive print and electronic resources of all the Emory University libraries, including more than 80,000 electronic journals and 700 subject databases.
About the Emory Libraries
The nine Emory Libraries house more than 3.1 million volumes, of which at least 55,000 are electronic. From the Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library, which holds special collections strong in modern literature, African American history, and culture and the history of Georgia and the South, to the Woodruff Health Sciences Library, whose librarians are called upon by medical students and hospital professional alike, each library makes the system as a whole the intellectual commons of the campus.

MARBL
Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library (MARBL) offers a renowned collections span of more than 800 years of human history.
Chemistry
The J.S. Guy Chemistry Library offers materials and services to those studying chemistry as well as study space with an ultra-modern vibe.
Law
The Hugh F. MacMillan Law Library holds over 400,000 volumes and more than 4,000 serials subscriptions.
