Professional Profile

Stuart Temples is a Library Specialist at the Library at Oxford College of Emory University. In this role, he catalogs a majority of the physical items added to the Library collection, utilizing automated and original cataloging methods. Additionally, he manages transit items between Emory campuses, serves on the Course Reserves Team where he helps maintain reserve collection items requested by faculty, and works on the Library Website Team where he utilizes the Cascade content management system to ensures that the website has up-to-date information.

Stuart received his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Georgia State University. He is currently enrolled at Valdosta State University in the Master of Library and Information Science program. His interests include the Visual Arts, particularly sculpture and metal-work, and graphic novels. His study of sculpture has led him to the Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Lumsden, Scotland. During his time at Valdosta State, he has acted as Co-Chair for SOLIS, the library student organization, and was chosen for the Library Student Internship at Smyrna Public Library.
